i can't explain all the feelings that your making me feel. my hearts in overdrive and a little band called the darkness is behind the stearing wheel. we all remember their 2003 hit "i believe in a thing called love" and its super bad ass 80s style video which gave us all an eye full of lead singer justin hawkins sexy little body in uber tight silver spandex....yummy. i dug the single, thought the video was rad but little did i know the real potential this england glam band had. their second record "one way ticket to hell and back" has been rockin my socks off ever since my boyfriend brought it home two weeks ago. with super sweet riffs and freddie mecury vocal stylings i instantly became a darkness believer. i did a little research and discovered that the band had since parted ways and sadly i would never get to experience their epicness live. my rediscovering the darkness got me thinking about one hit wonder bands, bands that had one song we all knew for a brief moment in time but really had more to offer us than their famous single. so i would like to know people....are their any other one hit wonder bands that actually make/made great records???
p.s. all you non-darkness fans out their check out "hazel eyes" and "bald" off of "one way ticket to hell and back" and tell me its not the fuckin sweetest thing you heard all day!!
