Seattle Music

I love it when you can manage to go to two shows in one night. The first show was only one band playing at an awesome house in southpark. There was beer and a good ol fashioned bbq in the back yard with tons of dogs and friends and smiles. The band is a local one named Skwish.They are a mix of rock and jam with some country influence. Other than the volume being turned up to loud and muffling the music it was a good show and there was plenty of dancing. The next show was another one bander and in my favorite basement in Seattle. The freshly painted walls were a perfect backdrop for the garage-punk band from the BayArea. Their name is Black Rainbow and they play a hard hitting set with female vocals and enough energy to make the whole basement go crazy. Check them out this summer at Off The Dial Records or Thrillhouse Records it is so worth it. And to top off an awesome night was a game of voka shot tic tac toe.
