Love songs. It’s the kind of music that makes you swoon, cry, smile, and more. Love songs make you feel alone or warm and fuzzy about the person your in a relationship with, it’s the kind of song we are all in love with. So I’ve gathered here some really great relationship songs, some you know, some you might not be familiar with, one thing is most likely to happen though; you’ll fall in love with these love songs.

‘Write You a Song’ by The Plain White T’s .
It’s a song the majority of the girls you will encounter want sung to her, and some guys want to sing to their girl. Before I heard the song, I became familiar with the title, it wasn’t until I got really curious I looked it up, now I am sold on it. It’s a song that makes me cry and swoon. The lyrics and music gets to our hearts, whether your single or not, and gives us a warm fuzzy feeling. The music and lyrics can definitely be seen as a relationship with this song because of how well they match each other. Starting out with acoustics, then slowly adding other instruments, and then blasting us with a strong, passionate full band part. It’s for sure, swoon worthy.

‘Unintended’ by Muse
It pains me to say that not enough people know this song. Most people just don’t know it, and it’s a shame, a dirty rotten shame. It’s a mellow, slow song, never getting really loud and fast. It’s a lovely song; you could float away on a cloud to this song, really. It makes you want to fall in love just to feel the feeling the song seems to be speaking about. How you will feel about the song, I have no clue, but even if your not one for love songs, I am pretty sure you will like this song. There are really no words to describe this song but amazing.

‘All Around Me’ by Flyleaf
Thank you radio stations and television. Unless you’ve been in hiding, you know this song. It’s very catchy, and people of all ages love this song. Only difference is; the younger has no idea what this song means. ‘All Around Me’ really describes how a lot of girls in love feel, and when girls connect with a happy kind of song, we really connect. Even more than Muse’s song, this will have you want the feeling of being in love.

‘Everything’ By A Cursive Memory .
This song makes my friends and me laugh! Between the video and the song, we don’t know what is better! The song itself is upbeat, sweet, cute, and can easily be caught in an unsuspecting victims head. You’re my E-V-E-R-Y-T-H-ING , it gives a bit of an insight to how a guy feels around a girl he really likes. Besides, what’s better way to tell a girl you like her than to spell it out!

‘Shiksa’ by Say Anything .
I love the happy feeling this song brings out in people. It’s sweet because of the happiness of getting an amazing girlfriend, and at the same time it’s a dorky song, but dorky in that cute way us girls love. Let’s be real here, if someone I was dating wrote a song about getting an amazing girlfriend he couldn’t believe even looked his way, I would be MOMUMENTOUSLY flattered. Just what the song stands for would make a girl blush if her boyfriend used it as symbolism, like putting it on his myspace (Ha-ha, myspace frenzy sure doesn’t get old.) ‘Shiksa’ is a great song to dance, bob, laugh, and so on to.

‘Plastic Stars’ by Freezepop .
Its fun, like any other Freezepop song, but it’s a sweet little ditty for a relationship. Even the loneliest person who can’t stand love songs because it makes their heart ache so, would love this song. When you’re lying next to me , I’ll go ahead and play this song.

’24 hours’ by The Sounds .
Now I can’t be sure if this is just describing the honeymoon part of a relationship, or just falling in love with someone completely and utterly. Either way, it’s love. And it’s spelled out quite clearly in the song ( Cause I'm in love in love in love in love with you with you with you with you with you oh ). As for me, for the next twenty-four hours, I’ll be waiting for some thoughts about this song. I’m in love, in love, in love with this SONG.

‘Seven’ By Vagiant .
The ‘After-a-relationship-but-I-still-love-you-and-I’ll-always-be-here-for-you’ kind of song, with a more of a ‘I-love-you-and-I-know-it’s-over-but-if-anyone-screws-with-your-emotions-I’ll-kick-their-ass’ feel to it. Underneath the loud guitar, rough vocals, and the tough exterior, it’s a down right sweet song. A bit threatening but all the same still absolutely sweet. I got your back til I die . It’s a love song for the harder music listener, since it’s fast, loud, and seemingly angry. Haven’t heard it? Quick! Go listen.

No matter what genre, time period, words involved, and people around, love songs matter and will always be there. Whether they make you cry, depressed, happy, in love, feel good, whatever….point is, we can’t get enough of them. We LOVE love songs! We put them in stupid little lovey-dovey videos, we eat ice cream and mope to them, we laugh with them, we see them in movies, we give a relationship a certain song, we just connect with them. A love song never gets too old, right? What’s your favorite love song?
