San Francisco Music

The last dude I dated just had a personal tragedy while I was abroad. I had no intention of ever talking to him AGAIN. Not in a mean way. Just that chapter of my life was over. Now when I got back, he was like " I need you." And I always try to be the nicer, better person, like how would I FEEL? So I give in, talk to him, e-mail him, even hung out with him this past weekend, YES EVEN LET HIM BORROW SOME DVDs and BOOKS. We were supposed to go to a gig last night together, and he did not even bother to call, e-mail or send a smoke signal to tell me he could not go. Now, I realize that dude is having a shit time, but a text message? TWO SECONDS away from grieving. A pigeon with a scroll? Come on, dude. I felt like crap as I grin and gripped on behalf of my compatriots of Fuzz. Rudeness, flakes and jerks, beware- us nice people can only take the high road so many times.

There's a point where you stop taking that road and just don't give a flying rat anymore. Sad when it happens, but also kinda nice.
