I'm stoked you like it. I'm working on an entire new album project as we speak. rough drafts are done. Acoustic versions are ready to pass of to other musicians for pre-production.
It's funny you should say it's not your cup of tea... It's not music I would choose to listen to either, it just seems to come out that way... Thank you for the kind words though, it means a lot to me.
I'm just learning how to create a mixed CD. This technology gives me a headache. I just can't listen to Leona Lewis, or whatever the record industry chooses for me. I like having music which suits me. I'd like to hear, "Cosmic Slop", by Parliament Funkadelic, or "Cocktail", by Dinah Washington. Top 40 just doesn't satisfy, y'know?
I bought at local shops, and paid the price they asked without question, because they were part of my town. Now, every local shop is being forced out of business due to corporate chain stores. I'll pay for what I want and need from a local if I can get it, but even that choice is becoming more difficult to make as the small shops are being swallowed up or forced to close because they cannot survive. I have never shopped at Walmart, and that isn't a choice, it's principle.
Still I'd call you dear and end my notes with the phrase "much love" whenever I write you, as I really love you more now, but now you don't be misled because I'm certainly a heterosexual and not a ho...!
However, even knowing your genre now doesn't change the analysis change much except the 'she' to 'he'. Hey bro you're great and it's always fun to talk to you.
Take a good care of yourself and be in touch.
and yeah seriously, way to go off topic on that one....I shook my head when I saw all that go down.
