You know box sets? When they consist of CDs they are called CD box sets. E.g. 4 CDs featuring an anthology of The Fluorescing Easy Orange Peel, or 3 CDs portraying North American retail stores slave workers folk singing, or whatever. So it's clear these things are called CD Box Sets. Now what's the insider- or professional word for the box that contains the CDs? Of course we normally would say "box" or "carton".
