Bio
Am just this guy who loves live music. If there are 7 good gigs a week (with in reasonable traveling) then I'll do them all.
The emphasis is on GOOD.
There are so many mediocre, average to crap performers out there clogging up the gig scene with more gadgets and effects than talent and it's not always easy to find the real quality.
My favourite big name artists include Jackson Browne, Steely Dan, Tom Waits, Delbert McClinton, John Hiatt, Tom Petty, Bonnie Raitt, Aretha Franklin, Etta James, Dolly Parton, Emmylou Harris and many, many more.
Less well known names but equally brilliant favourite bands include Big Baby Ernie from New Jersey, King Pleasure and the Biscuit Boys from Birmingham UK and Nearly Dan an awesome Steely tribute from the UK
Artists Kevin Montgomery from Nashville and Adrian Byron Burns based in Hull UK, both brilliant singer/songwriters and Darren Dutson Bromley a fantastic guitarist (mainly jazz) from Bradford UK. These guys all have stuff posted on myspace so why not check them out.
I LIKE: blues, soul, country, rock, jazz and real R&B (not the wishy washy modern stuff)
I DON'T LIKE : rap, hip-hop, pop, electronic, metal and most indie so please don't ask.

Am new to My Fuzz and in the process of building my page but experience of myspace is leading me to set out my personal networking criteria from the start as follows:
I AM NOT INTERESTED IN BUYING CDs via this media. With few exceptions (ie artists no longer with us), I only buy CDs at gigs or from artists I have seen and know can do it live.
My main interest is in continuing to support the live music scene as I have done for over forty years.
