We hail from Parry Sound, Ontario Canada. It's a town that if you don't drink, smoke weed or like hockey, you're sorta fucked for things to do. So with the absence of all the fundementals of a hick residing in any of the four individuals that make up this band, we turned to music. Nathan and Danny had been playing in other bands for seven years together. when they started getting bored of playing in the traditional hard-core style, they broke off and started challenging themselves with music that they could be proud of and more of what represented them as musicians -- such as the brief, but incendiary 'Morning Fire Victims' -- Shortly after, John (previously obscure alt-country solo-act 'Icy Sparks' (now 'aecaezparx') and Meagan (quantum physics guru & general scary-smart-cellist) joined and opened up the spectrum even further. after a year of being togather, john and nathans musical views grew apart leading nathan to kick john out of second skin orcistra in june 2007. soon after john left nathans old friend tom came back to parry sound and took over johns spot as bassist leaving second skin orcistra with the following line up: nathan cheechuck --- lead guitar and vox, danny hubert --- drums and percussion, Meagan ballintyne --- cello and vox, tom ---bassist
