Actually I only bought one new new album, The Young Gods Superready/Fragmente. I was barely familiar with this band before and really only bought it to keep my Ipecac collection current. I just gave it a quick once-over tonight at work and I like it a lot. Its just good straight up rock with a bit of electronic touches. I'm going to give this a second listen on the headphones tonight in bed. Also discovered Nick Cave's new thing Grinderman. Again, I don't know much about Nick Cave but this album fucking rocks! Noisy, fuzzed-out blues rock. I dig it. Picked up an old Radiohead b-sides ep that I haven't listened to yet. I think its from the OK Computer era. Ok then. I got into Twilight Singers mostly because of Mark Lanegan (probably my favorite vocalist/songwriter/drugabuser/artist ever) but I really like that band and G Dulli's voice alot. I just purchased their ep from last year A Stitch in Time and it's really good. Lanegan's first song on there is a great vintage Lanegan song backed by a great band. Where's the Gutter Twins goddamnit!? Hmm...what else...found a copy of My Bloody Valentine's Loveless reissue on vinyl. This is probably not too hard to find these days but I've burned through two cassettes and I'm on my second copy of this cd so I'm glad I have a backup. Alright. I need sleep immediately. The white-death was in abundance this weekend and I did imbibe heavily. My body hates me; I'm severely dehydrated and all my joints ache. I have to be at work in six hours. And I definitely shouldn't be drinking sugary caffienated beverages at this hour. Jesus Christ. Good night, and good luck. Love, Ryan
Aaarrrgghhh....my disc drive won't read that twilight singers disc...fuckin-aye.

well...the new nin record is mind-blowingly good. blowingly is not a word. listened to about an hour of noise from the Public Guilt set while at work yesterday. boss said, "radio's been like that for like thirty minutes now, you know." "no this a cd. thats what it is" "thats all it is???" "yeah, this is part of a three disc set." he seemed rather confused. i missed out on my chance to pre-order boris/merzbow lp from hydrahead shop. my dealer better be holdin' because i hate getting new stuff from ebay. at a mark-up. if anyone knows the hookup let me know. its raining nicely here in missoula and i got soaked on the walk home tonight. my cat is in heat, and she wants me to open the window so she can scope the yard and get a taste of that cold wet mountain air. there is a hole in my finger and it hurts to type. i know that it is wrong to end a sentence with a preposition, but sometimes it is impossible not to.
I am a serious Mike Patton fiend. The Melvins are nearing deity status, in my eyes. I am currently listening to the new NIN album online, and I will definitely buy this on Tuesday. I love Mark Lanegan, Sleater-Kinney, Sonic Youth, PJ Harvey, metal, avant garde, experimental, rock, hip-hop, noise, Ipecac shit, Neurot shit, Southern Lord shit, etc...My most recent music purchaces are: Dalek-Abandoned Language(CD), Boredoms-Pop Tatari(CD), PJ Harvey-Down by the Water(CDEP), Boris/sunnO)))-Altar(3LP), Made Out of Babies-Coward(LP), Public Guilt/Epicene/Underadar-various artists(3CD), Melvins-Trilogy(3LP). I am addicted to vinyl, and I also love my 5.1-channel home theater. I own an ipod, but I always buy hard copies of all my music, and I DO NOT steal/pirate music. I stay up way too late listening to my headphones. Some of my non-music related interests are: The Devil, self medication, anarchy, bombast, weird art, ego, aggressive individualism, gonzo, trancendental psychedelic experience, weight, nihlism, weaponry, avant gardening, synesthesia, Too Much Fun, catharsis, sexdrugsrocknroll...well, i guess a lot of these things are still music related. I think I am the first fuzz.com member from Montana. OK then.
