Yeah, there was another scandal cause they sold rotten meat. They fucked up their image and the German media was really embarrassed when they found out, that wal-mart employees are not allowed to fall in love with fellows and stuff like that. The worst thing was: They had a "guide line" that told the employees to spy on their fellow workers (and report thinks like "hey there is a love couple and both work at Wal-Mart also it is forbidden) Strange World!

Sites like Last.Fm + Myspace earn a lot of money with advertising + Last.Fm earns earns money by selling the generated user data (charts are not only for the user's pleasure) + Last.Fm earns money with extra features that are for subscribers only ( subscribers pay 2,50 € per month).
It is just fair that the artists receive part of this money.
Youtube does (or will) offer special content like the BBC videos with additional adverts. It's like free TV.
