Hi Maureen. Sorry I didn't see it was a reprint from 2000. I am sure you are right about Steve Hutton. It was a total mistake on my part. I apologize for the comment and if I can I will go back and delete it....JOE

Hi,
The article on managers was written in 1999 and reposted here. The managers name was Steve Hutton. His management office is Upper Cut Management in Chicago. This would have been the manager that Kid Rock left for the guy you are talking about. You can call him if you want. I never hung out with Husker Du. I peripherally knew Grant Hart and much later, Bob Mould when he was in Sugar. As for John Brannon, I never said I was familiar with his background. I was in the Chicago and Minneapolis scene - not Detroit and Ann Arbor. I grew up in a suburb of Chicago. I never claimed to know everything about punk subculture as you suggest I should. I am recruiting writers for a magazine. I think that's pretty apparent from my blog.

That hot chick pic reminds me [sadly] of an earlier version of a "wall of lead" used for terror in another place and time. Once you have seen the devastation created by simple lead pellets dropped in carpet-bombing swathes by the bushel-load from modified B-52D's flying so high you could not hear them, you wouldn't want to sleep much either just thinking about and waiting for the whistling before everything just "disappears" in a cloud of dust without explosions. Oh, the girl seemed to be winsome as well.

haha yeah I totally missed that. I thought you meant the girl and I looked and was like..."ummm what about her?" cause I don't see anything about her at all. Hahaha, that was good!

Have a good weekend!
