Music and movie lover. DJ and freelance writer. Downtown dweller. Cat owner. Seattle resident since 1988, i.e. 2008 marks 20 years in the Jet City. Or the Emerald City. Or the town that Bill Gates and/or Jeff Bezos and/or Howard Schultz and/or Paul Allen built (I'm sure I'm leaving someone out). Like most longtime residents, I've worked for two of those gents: six years at Microsoft and three years at Amazon, not counting contract work. I've been living the freelance life for five years now.
