Trying to reproduce functionality from http://www.fuzz.com/singleFile from this blog post.
In theory it should be simple - just create a link of the form http://blip.fm/home?q=searchstring , where searchstring should contain %20 instead of spaces (that is the string should be escaped - all special symbols replaced).

Let's try
Blip this

It's working! Showing 3 records to select from.

But the problem is that you need to know that blip.fm will be able to find your selection. Since we don't know what is search machine behind blip.fm, we never know before we try it.

Tried it - but it doesn't work for songs that are not uploaded elsewhere than fuzz (or other sides that use flash players)

I can't blip Lula nor Wayne Jackson nor WebOfDistress for example!

Hi DS,
It is just invoking search in Blip.fm externally. If you can do a search for Lula in Blip.fm then you should be able to do the same with http://blip.fm/home?q=Lula externally.

Hi Jevs - I did understand how you tool works. I can create a link that directs me direct to blip and the song I am looking appears in the search window - but the song doesn't get found by blip. (cause blip doesn't have access to these songs)

like this one:
http://blip.fm/home?q=Lula%20Perfect%20Day

BTW: Saw her and Wayne Jackson live in concert yesterday - both of them were amazing - but can't blip this - sucks!!!

Right,

(except it is not my tool - blip.fm, I am just trying to undertand it from what I can see in http://www.fuzz.com/singleFile).
You are lucky to see Lula and Wayne live!
