Jeff, how goes? Hope you're well. I've got a new band and we're playing www.steelbridgesongfest.org with Jackson Browne and Pat MacDonald in June. I also have a song called "Twirl" one the upcoming Steel Bridge compilation CD. And what pray tell is up with you? :-)

Ha! I was the first one there, looking like a fool at 3pm. I'm the girl that went slightly insane and was hugging everyone...I think I hugged you too! Thanks again....it was beyond worth the wait.

ahh! you have no idea how much!
thanks for making it happen!!!

The next one should be with Blaqk Audio ;) I hear they were gonna do BFD but aren't anymore because of a schedule conflict. And they were amazing live when I saw them Sunday in Irvine. Honestly, even Ry Ry thought so...and it takes a lot for Ry Ry to admit a band was really good (those musicians...so skeptical...you know!? haha)
Seriously, people would pay, fly across the ocean and sell a body part to see them at a small place. I would, but thankfully everything here is about 20 minutes away from me! haha

Did YOU have fun?

Re: Clif, DifferentStars, and tibii's comments at the blog about the Next "Killer-App": Micro-Community-Based Iterative Content

I think DifferentStar's 22 user-groups [count 'em] - shown on her last.fm profile and on her Sub-Community Within A Community [of which I am a member] at last.fm are instructive of the coming convergence of all of the social music networks [being only one-click away from one another] and the need to develop Iterative Content in a centralized place for ultimate monetization by individual artists and, separately, by music fans and/or dedicated intermediaries on an indie-focused music site - one of the objectives of Cottage Industries 2.0.

And, of course, as usual tibii's point about getting back to basics is a valid point as well. We'd better all get messages over to the Goat with a Poke! about the necessary "blocking and tackling" that still remains to be done on the fuzz platform about stuff like disappearing screens before a music purchase can be completed.

As for Clif, well, he and I are de facto cohorts in developing, uh - you know, SocialBuxx™ to become, in time, the new social currency exchange. :=)

Dear Jeff, Goat and fuzz techies, here is a note that I think you will find to be of interest and, maybe, a head-ache as it represents even more stuff to do.

To:SomeVapourTrails [cc: to DifferentStars who sent me here and Clif our friendly superman and supernode]:

I looked at the Firefox link at your BB Code For Dummies blog; and I want to be able to do all this stuff if I can without the BB Coding and/or HTML. However, computer cludge that I am, I still can't figure out how to port the software program over to the fuzz platform to make the "right mouse button" work as you [SomeVapourTrails] describe it.

I will repost this at Clif's blog on Fuzz Tips and Tricks so he may be able to help us computer-challenged folks [unlike Miss Bella who seems to have worked it out immediately].

Actually, if you can make these link functions an easier task, not only would it be heaven, but it would greatly enhance content development on this site.

I know the fuzz folks have this "seamless" linking function [using an embedded HTML code already built in the fuzz platform] on their "to do" list [among hundreds of other stuff - like the "review this comment" box that should appear below every comment box before the "send" button is activated :=)].

But, pending that development, we will have to rely on our own initiatives and the techno-slingers like Clif to lend a helping hand. :=) again.

By the way, all of the links that I made above were done the old fashioned way and it is a pain in the xxx. However, I am convinced that both intra-site and external linking is absolutely critical to developing iterative content and will be, in time, at the very core of the "semantic web" that everyone is now beginning to talk about, so I will keep up.

In the meantime, thanks for the post.

ps. Maybe, I'd better send this note to Goat and the fuzz tech-slingers as well to poke and goose them along. Man, when I started blogging a few months back, I did not know what I was getting into. But, face it, now I'm hooked and "I have seen the future" and I want to be part of it.

pps: Jim and I were talking about the semantic web the other day on one of our "walk and talks". Very interest.

Cheers, TCC

I heard that rumor about DFA 1979 too! I'm praying it actually happens. In the meantime, I'm pumping MSTRKRFT on my stereo while doing the DFA 1979 rain dance. Let's definitely catch up soon--and this time not on the scary mountain road!

Hey, thanks for stopping by. Of course I'd be honored to write for The Fix... very cool :)

Take care,
