blog Thanks - Fuzz ROCKED THE HALLS
Thanks to all of you that made it to the Fuzz ROCK THE HALLS event last night at the Hotel Utah. Jen's master plan was flawless with Daniel, Scott, and Kristen pitching in. The bands were awesome - The Ghost of Curtis, Death Valley High, and The Hot Challenge put on a great show. Also, thanks to Keith of the Hotel Utah for making it happen. The place was packed and the booze flowed freely. My head still hurts, but it was worth it.

I hope someone got some pictures, but it was good to see Beradley, Liz, Big Al from the Chron, Eric, the crew from Cold Hot Crash, Ian P, Patricia, Ry Ry (who got some of the bands to play), Chris Molla, Brice, Mike from GC Pro, Cliff, Joyce, and Yan to name a few. Lots of laughs and it was good to blow off some steam.

When I came to my senses, I found myself at Yuet Lee in Chinatown at around 3AM. Somehow that beef with black bean sauce is always a good way to end the night.

Now gotta go get another Advil... see you all again soon!

Is that the place wher you walk in the back door, sort of thru the kitchen, and the have the old dumb waiter thing that goes up and down with your food? Man if it is I had a blurry latenight/early morning occaision there too one time...

Hmmm - that would've been a better story, but nope, different place. Yuet Lee is the place on Broadway with the hideous florescent green paint job... It's a pretty scary place. I once asked the waiter what was in one of the dishes - General Li's Mixed Ingredients Soup. His answer: "You don't want to know..."
