Lovemakers at the Victoria Theater
I had a chance to check out the Lovemakers show at the Victoria Theater on 16th Street for the SF Short Film Festival after-party. I must say that the venue was one of the weirdest venues to have a show. The acoustics were wacky and the theater was well, an old-school movie-house. I guess it was the perfect place for the film festival, but not a live show. There was literally a little booth in the center of the vestibule where a nice old lady was selling tickets - you know the kind with the metal circular plate designed for talking, but that never seems to work. It was also pretty wild that since the theater didn't have a liquor license, we had to join a "club" if we wanted to drink beer. Pretty wild - felt like I was joining a Speakeasy...
Nonetheless, the show was great and the folks that were there seemed to enjoy the show. There were several Fuzzheads that came - Sandy, Mike, Zanne, Jen, Brice, and Ryan off the top of my head. We were also joined by folks from iTunes, MyWaves, and Myx TV to name a few. After having toured for 2 weeks, the band was really tight. My favorites were the re-mix of Misery Loves Company and of course, Save Me. It was great to see folks singing along and jumping up and down as the band started its set.
If anyone has pictures from the show, please post them.

That theater is cool! We went their to see some silly light show with some friends from Chicago and I think that I enjoyed the atmosphere more than the show.
And the acoustics were whack as hell, and the tall guy head banging in front of me was too drunk. And I was going a bit crazy (jumping up and down).
But overall....fantastic :)
