I finally just threw down the towel and settled for RMC3 Teese Wah. It is absolutely awesome. You can pretty much adjust every nuance to get EXACTLY the sound you want. It took me about two hours of tinkering with a screwdriver to dial in the tone, sweep, and EQ that I was looking for. I dialed in a cross between Hendrix and the wah on the Shaft theme track.

I ended up having to purchase it used on eBay since I couldn't find it in stock anywhere. Apparently, Geoffrey Teese puts these pedals together by hand and has a tough time meeting the high demand for his product.

Anyway, I'm really happy with it and if you are a funk-wah nut like me, you really ought to give it a try.
