I had a chance to check out the Festival yesterday on Treasure Island and I was really pleasantly surprised. I thought it was going to be a pain in the ass getting to the Island, but it was totally easy. I know that most people are going to the show today and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT.

Someone sent me an article about music piracy in China. Various search engines provide extremely easy means to find links to music and policing copyright protection seems fruitless. While the IFPI has won 90% of the lawsuits regarding illegal downloading in China, according to the article, it's costs per case are approximately $13k while damages awarded are about $130. Clearly, suing individuals is pointless and is reminiscent of the RIAA's actions here in the US. Both in the US...
