"He is very controversial and always try to show his oppinion about anything going on. And he always tried to be polemic, but at the same time, he is not. That makes him much more of a clown than anything else"

Hi G,

Funny you mention this, cause' in the concert he actually did a bit of it. I know little to be honest no much about the Tropicalia movement from back in the late 60's and 70's in Brazil but I feel very incouraged to dig in. Its nice to have good and objective conversation with people that is rooted in their culture. Have a nice Holiday if you celebrate "Dia de Gracias" ; for me is just time to be off work, hang out with friends and chow like a pig.

Hasta Pronto, Rowan

Hay G,

I'm sure you been from Brazil have a different take on him and I respect that and true his early material provably his best work. Noites Do Norte thou I find it very cool and definitely going back a little, Livro and Circulado I enjoy very much these recordings. I guess what I like was that he was very vivid, and looked so comfortable it was a really cool performance.
I'm from Venezuela by the way.

Peace, Jimenez

I don't really think Fuzz will be an Orkut alternative as such [in my quick blog comment, I was just thinking of Brazil and the critical mass that Orkut developed there when i started typing away].

Yes, Orkut [which is essentially an extension of "Blogger" which, as you may know, is also an affiliate of Google] has caught on like a wild-fire in a few countries, the largest being Brazil, as a broad-based social network. This will be difficult to replicate. Rather, I think Fuzz [which is a start-up company currently with about 10,000 bands and growing] has the potential to push out the envelope in the on-line music space [as a potential " ecommerce music alternative" to the music sub-sector of MySpace with its admittedly large number of bands - MySpace currently has about 3 million bands - so many you can't find individual artists because the MySpace music discovery algorithm is poor].

As to who I am, here are just a few details that you may or may not find to be of relevance.

Good to see u here. Many things goin' on here.

Hopefully, the Content and Music Discovery from Brazil on everything that is way cool about music [and the economics of music which I tend to write most about] at Fuzz will gradually begin to serve as a web-based alternative in Brazil to Orkut [that site is becoming a choatic circus - good for what it is and stands for; but not so good for music in my humble opinion. I guess we are all children of light and children of darkness.] Anyways, good to have you here in Portugese or English - whatever.

Warning!
Are you sure?
