Bands
Bio
I've been many things and hope to be many more. I grew up in Cleveland, dropped out of school after falling into a jazz addiction and then moved to New York. Many albums and tours later I am now living in Berlin Germany. I have a beautiful and wonderful wife who supports my "I am what I am today" idea about myselfand doesn't seem to mind that I never plan to have a plan for my life. At the moment of writing I am head chef at a restaurant called Cas Creole in Berlin, Kreutzberg. The food is fucking great I must say. I play bass for Miariam Netti Band, Iris Roaming, UNKL, Yelena K., Kristian Kowatsch Trio and The Under Water Retreat. I like learning and reading. I am trying to learn to new programming languages at the moment. I'm working on a few other projects and when they get from idea to result I'll let you all know.

I've had the urge to be critical but stopped each time cause maybe I'm still not sure why I want to support fuzz or the maybe cause the west coast concentration is discouraging, I don't know...but now...I think I know why (beers can help filter thoughts, or?

1)Who decides what bands to highlight
2)How do we incorporate more non-musicians?
3)The fuzz search engine needs to be rebuilt, when I search for artists in berlin I don't even find myself.
4)Yesterday I had the idea...
The selecting favorite genre part on Fuzz really tweaked me out. I like lot's of bands. I can always hear some good Jimmy Rodgers or Robert Lockwood or Son House. There's loads of jazz albums which I love to have around and I've always been a Rolling Stones listener. I love to blast something like Sleeps' 'Jerusalem' early in the morning (originally High on Fire). Some things just don't work on the stereo and must be seen while heard like Deerhoof or Birth...

Good to here about your determination to DIY. You should use your site in conjuntion with the Fuzz Dashboard for Artists.
Ask mike@fuzz.com for an online demonstration of its capabilities in data analysis and management to support DIY activities of artists [if it is not self-evident from your just playing around with the site yourself]. Knowledgeable indie labels have said that the Artist support capabilities at the Fuzz site are better than anything out there, and the price is right [free].
Also, I trust that you have internalized the message of my blogs at TheCapitalClinic that your future as an Artist is essentially in your own hands [when you are not cooking up a storm]. You might also check out Maureen's blogs at Fuzz, which I think you will find instructive from the viewpoint of a great musician who has already been there, done that.
[Apologies for multiple copies of this message. I am just checking out the Fuzz site features myself. TCC]
Great to have you on our site. Look forward to hearing about your other projects--whenever they "get from idea to result". Enjoy!
