Bio
Drummer/Percussionist/Recording engineer and co-owner of an Indie Label, Cousins of the Water Productions. Cousins of the Water specializes in producing aspiring serious musicians, artist/song development, development deals and producing radio quality musical product. We have developed our business model to treat artists fairly and protect their copyrights.
Cousins of the Water is actually a literal translation of our last name as deciphered by none other than John McLaughlin of the Mahavishna Orchestra fame. My brother David and he were both at the International Jazz Festival and spent several hours together. During those conversations Mr McLaughlin (who is fluent in five languages besides guitar!) came up with that definition.
David thought it would be a good name for a label, so here we are.
