As we independent artists continue to seek out new places to distribute our music on today’s web 2.0, there are still many “sleight of hand” type offers that we artists should be aware of. I decided to try out the mixtape functions that are new here at Fuzz. It's good. I used 192kbps MP3 files. A small wait time to upload each song, and presto! My very own first Fuzz mixtape.
I've sent it out to folks to see what they think. If they like it, I'll make more of them. Until then, enjoy!

This fall, lawmakers in the second session of the 110th Congress are expected to address a number of important issues that could affect songwriters and their livelihoods. Jazz keyboard legend Joe Zawinul passed away on September 11, 2007.
His music, especially the music he composed with the group Weather Report. had a profound influence on the way I heard and approached my own music as a bassist and a writer.
He will be missed by myself and many others.
May he always rest in peace.
