Will, Thanks for sharing your experiences at the Bandwidth Conference in San Francisco that, obviously, many musicians and music managers in distant locations were unable to attend. Although presented by you in two separate blogs, I simply consolidated your Day Two summary [which was great] as a TCC blog thread to your Day One reportage. The way my new "enhanced BBcode linking system" works, my readers or casual visitors to my Value Indexing Profile now have to only click once to access both the Day One and Day Two blogs rather than twice.
Your willingness to try many new approaches to dealing with the changing web-based environment is evident from your active participation on this site. I know your comments have helped me to see many things in a different way and that must be the case with others as well, both musicians and music fans.
Again, although it is becoming a broken record of my voice about it, I think that this new BBcode tool is fabulous and will revolutionize the way musicians can be educated and marketed as more participants use and expand the possibliities of this limitless linking of web Content BUT WITH FOCUSSED 'VALUE INDEXING'. Linking infinitely expanding web Content with personalized Content Discovery Tools [as made available by a simple application of the BBcode as it works on this platform] is key.
As a young label in search of an edge and distinction yourself [which is really gaining momentum as I gather from your own profile and blogs to date], getting out in front with a new approach enhanced by BBcoding may well provide important early-mover advantages [or so says this newly converted Evangelist of the Possible after discovering my Personal Rosetta Stone to unlock both the mystery and chaos of the web. :=)].
Will, I just added your great summary of the Bandwidth Conference Day One using my new-found "killer BBcode tool" on my RANDOM STUFF list on my Profile page. Check it out. Did u attend a Day Two as well [which it would be useful to consolidate with Day One for us here, when you have time]?
As a new label, I am convinced that you can now mold the web to fit your vision on a dynamic basis on your Profile page. This is a great tool.
Jeff says that you can also do this stuff on your band pages and monitor statistically action on your "band profile" on a dynamic basis, but I don't have a live band [yet] and prefer the familiarity of the main Profile page. I'm sure the folks a Team Fuzz can explain all this "data management" stuff to you directly. Cheers
Right on, Will. Go BBcode! It's actually a fantasic and powerful tool. It will dramatically change everything you do on your blogging and Profile page. You can take command of your web-destiny. Truly.
Will - it was really great meeting you as well. I'd love to figure out how we can work together to make SF a great place for music again - it's already happening, but maybe we can just help turn up the dial a bit... Thanks again for introducing yourself and I look forward to connecting again soon!

Maybe we could use some smileys at the Fuzz.
