Standing in the doorway, not even saying a word. Wondering where you'll go now. It seems to late to turnaround. Staring out at nothing, putting your hand to your hair, as if to pull the courage....to take that step and close the door.
Trying to move forward, struggling, chained to the past. Never moving onward, the question begs to be asked. If you really want this, what is it that makes you stay. Lingering forever....day after, day after day.
One day in the future, when you discover the strength. A new life will be waiting....for you to take its first breath. And then you will discover...everything that came before was only preparation for the world that waits beyond the door.
