Bio
Raised in the Bronx, influenced by reggae, calypso, Top 40 and most of all hip hop I got my feet wet in the late 80's as an intern at Bayside Sound Studios in Queens, New York. I was actually answering phones and sweeping floors as the Salt-n-Pepa megahit "Push-It" was being recorded. Working in one of the hottest studios in New York allowed me to meet a lot of people and learn the basics of recording. A few years later, after relocating to LA to work with Ice-T and The Rhyme Syndicate, I was signed to a publishing deal with Warner Chappell Music. While writing and making beats for artist like Ice-T, Donald-D, etc; I had the pleasure of going on tour with platinum artist "Hi-Five" doing drum programming, moving equipment, whatever was necessary to stay out on the road, get experience and chase groupies, lol. Along with working with legendary producer Richard Perry (Rod Steward, The Temptations, etc;) these are some of my greatest musical experiences. I'm currently involved in different aspects of the business such as talent scouting, songwriting, management, etc;. Most recently I just partnered up with a noted industry veteran to form a new publishing company. We're currently looking for great writers in all genres to possibly be apart of several upcoming projects. Through out the years I've been very fortunate to maintain many long, lasting relationships with a lot of the good people in the business. To me integrity is everything!. If you don't have your word, you don't have anything!.
