Aww, Sarah. Now I can't stop listening to the soulful sound and haunting lyrics of "The Soldier's Song." Been there, done that. [But] I never found my truth out there; never knew why we were there; lost my youth but no-one seemed to care. This will become the defining song of our conflicted times. Everyone should listen and hear its message. What a Fuzz exclusive; what a song. Mother, I'm fine; everything's OK; doesn't help to worry anyway.

NB: a note to readers of my reviews: the text of my reviews at this site may change from time to time. As I listen for futher nuances in a song or body of work, I keep modifying or adding to my thoughts, making my reviews an organic "moveable feast". Since Fuzz artists are constantly evolving, as are our own perspectives, I think Fuzz reviews should not be frozen in time. It's time to extend the power of real-time, web-based music discovery, by making our reviews, "wiki-reviews."

Sarah, I have been struggling with the notion of "truth-values" in music. The hyphenated phrase [appropriated from academia] suggests worth grounded in reality. There is "truth-value" in The Soldier's Song that is grounded in the harsh and evanescent reality of a soldier's life. It would be both a fascinating and noble exercise to see if we can use your artistic piece to bring this "truth-value" home to the broadest possible audience. Let's think on how we can use the Fuzz platform to elevate your exclusive work product to the wider stage. The undertaking would "truly" be "worth" it.

Yes! Let's see who's far-sighted enough to get on this. First movers generally have pole position to get to the finish line first.
