blog Fuzz and the Other Space

This is a really short blog, more an observation, as follows:

1. Until a few days ago, a number of musicians seemed to say, in response to suggestions from Friends or Fans to join the Fuzz Music Uprising, that they wished to wait to see what Fuzz could offer that they did NOT already have at the Otherspace. It is always difficult to prove a negative.

2. Now that Fuzz is up and running, the comparative response has come full circle. The proof of the pudding is always in the eating.

Go figure.

what fuzz offers...those pompous musicians!

how about REAL views from REAL people about what they REALLY think about your sh*t... the "other" space is just a popularity contest.. fuzz offers a place to listen to ALL your music and the chat with you about it.

geez!

Yeah, go figure.

I AM hearing more and more (as Fuzz is being promoted by musicians themselves) that we are THE music site to be on.

Fuzz love.

oooh I like that tshirt, anyone got a sharpie? The otherspace comparison is a bit thin, I think, although I use it often enough...As well as an online community, Fuzz is also a revolutionary music industry model that I believe will prove itself in the long run. When people (especially friends) turn down the chance to sign up, I mend the pieces of my fractured ego by knowing they'll sign up someday and I won't even have to say I told you so.

I've had a band tell me they had to check with their label first to see if they could sell their music on another site (*smacks forhead*).

i agree with wats being said here.. also, i think a big part is out of laziness and habit.. people get used to other sites, they grow comfortable at the place theyre at (even if its the lesser of two).. plus people get too lazy to jump from site to site and try to expand their options

your space. not myspace. that's how the t-shirt should read. that's how the chips do fly.

Both spaces are unique and useful but you guys have the blimp. I like the pudgy blimp. It brings a smile to my face. As far as spaces go I think it's always better to create allies instead of opponents.
Fuzzily yours....
