UNKL
UNKL [by way of Cleveland and Berlin] who just uploaded five experimental hybrid pieces [mostly jazz, but some say, also rock, Indian, West African rhythm - you decide]. These five pieces [haddad - 5:50 min; south goes - 7:04 min; Frank n' Frei - 4:42 min; Mourning - 5:36 min; and Quiet Now - 4:24 min] are nothing but modern, mellow, punctuated, and cool. All are structured, tight, and yet full of surprises, each piece yielding to dominance and support by sax, bass, guitar, and drums. Quite a combination. For now, my favs are haddad and Quiet Now, but I could change my mind depending on mood. Let UNKL know what you think about their work. You've heard my opinion. What's yours? Let other Fuzz Heads know.

NB: a note to readers of my reviews: the text of my reviews at this site may change from time to time. As I listen for futher nuances in a song or body of work, I keep modifying or adding to my thoughts, making my reviews an organic "moveable feast". Since Fuzz artists are constantly evolving, as are our own perspectives, I think Fuzz reviews should not be frozen in time. It's time to extend the power of real-time, web-based music discovery, by making our reviews, "wiki-reviews."
