Today, I am visiting everybody that has favorited me, in an effort to keep communication open. Please consider this a handshake and a thank you. I will add content to this post as I go, because I hate 'form letters' and I want to personalize this. Have a great day Stand and Deliver.

Good to meet you here. I was speaking with jeff, ceo of fuzz, the other day and discussing how to best describe the necessary function of the "intermediary" between the artist and the fans. I say that it is necessary because, by and large, the artists are not prepared to deal with the hundreds of details of running a business and, to be honest, this is not their core strength that flows from their "persona". Artists are best left to dedicate themselves to extending their art.

Jeff said that indie labels, business managers, consultants, and the like were not in his view "intermediaries", but "enablers". The problem is that the food-chain of enablers has become too extended and there are just too many mouths to feed with not enough left over for the source of the food chain, the artists. Thus, he and Fuzz think that the best of the "enablers" are those who are "disintermediaries" rather than intermediaries. What do you think? [I think I will blog more about this interesting point]. Cheers.
