Sarah Betten; My review of ~ The Soldier Song ~ Not an Addict (Sarah w/K’s Choice)
The Soldier Song: True to the grief and tragedy of War, this song reaches down into and mingles with my own reality for War. The horrifically tragic and more than senseless display, through War, of BAD HABITS. With the corrupt outcome, not of her song, but of War; of the crying of the Children for the lost Parents, shared equally with the No! No! No!, and screaming grief of the Parents for the Children. The Soldier Son; Well Done and Delivered. I’m sorry that We have such a topic as War, for our motives of songtring.
Sarah w/K’s Choice: I love the way this song intros, the breath, the breath, redundantly, the breath; I, hoping it keeps breathing. The rest of the song is well done and well performed, very professionally. Again, my condolences for these motives for these songs…
Sincerely, SivleRane

Mother, I'm fine, everything's ok
It doesn't help to worry anyway
I'll be back before you know
You will be so proud to know
I was strong, I didn't let you down
Mother, I lied, this is not for me
I've seen so many people die and somehow I'm still here
And I don't know why I should be
The lucky one who gets to see
Another morning through these tired eyes
Mother, I'm dying, nothing more to give
My body breathes, but I don't want to live
And the bullet that's supposed to go
Inside some poor son's back
I hope it blows up in my face, so I can say
Mother, I died, and you won't have to know
There's nothing left but anger in my soul
I never found my truth out there
I never knew why we were there
I lost my youth, but no one seemed to care
Mother, I'm fine, everything's ok
It doesn't help to miss me anyway
I'll be in your heart you know
And you will be so proud to know
I was strong, I didn't let you down
I didn't let you down
I didn't let you down
I didn't let you down
I didn't let you down
