Hello Ladies and Gents! Welcome to yet another edition of "You Wanna Read It"!!! As usual we faced another busy week. First for the biggest news! We have been selected as a semi-finalist for the annual LIVE 105 NOT SO SILENT NIGHT CONTEST! Thats right thanks to you we have entered the semifinals!!! In other news we had a great show at the DNA Lounge in San Francisco this past Saturday night! We shared the stage with Astral and The Frail. Thanks guys for coming out and rocking the house. This past show was extra special because it was the first full set played by our new drummer Hugo. The reviews are in and.....HUGO KICKED ASS BEYOND EXPECTATIONS! This guy has worked his ass off to learn the material and has done an excellent job doing so!

Well as you can see no shows!!! Dont fret my pets. Shows are being booked as we speak with such acts as The Lovemakers, Panda, and The Phenomenauts in the horizon. Also there is a big show in december at Slim's that may see a certain band rock the stage. Well have a great turkey day and make sure to drive safe. There are a lot of drivers drunk off of spiked eggnog, pumpkin beer and tryptophan(you know the stuff in turkey that makes us want to go sweepies). Anywhoo goodnight everybody!!!

Hello hello hello! What a busy week it has been in the land of brown suits and earth shattering rock and roll! First and foremost let us again specify that the worlds greatest rock and roll album is out and it is ready for you to buy online and in cooler record stores across the west coast. Its called "Oakland Lads Club" and it features the hits "Heck No(I'll Never Listen To Techno)" and "You Wanna Touch It!". Where can you get it? Well online you can download it at www.fuzz.com or buy a hard copy at www.interpunk.com. While supplies last interpunk will be offering exclusive Maldroid buttons not available anywhere but through them!!! As for which stores carry our record merely walk in and demand Maldroid. We will be more then happy to send over some copies to the location you would like!

Big thanks go out to Panda, Hot Toddies and our brothers the Phenomenauts for showing us a great time at the Stork and The Phoenix Theatre. These shows were packed and sweat covered. If you missed out please slap yourself. The entire Phoenix show can be seen at www.youtube.com/maldroidtv. This week brings our final night of residency at the Stork Club in Oakland with Little Yellow Perfect. This show will be on Friday, Sept 28th. Yeah, yeah I know its not a Thursday! Well the show had to be moved to a Friday so do us both a favor and move your happy ass to the show on Friday!

In other news Maldroid was proud to host the Rockslide program on the Myx TV Network.Joined with our new friend Todd(not our Todd.) Maldroid introduced music videos across the boards of rock. Watching Maldroid introduce Fall Out Boy is worth finding the footage worthwhile on its own!!! All Comcast and Direct TV owners please check your listings and if you aren't getting MYX TV do everyone a favor and get it. Its a great network. Hell its beating MTV in Asia!

New T-Shirt Designs are now available at all shows. A new updated online merch store is being developed people have patience! It will be worth the wait.

Finally we would all like to thank all of our friends, families, and fans(both old and new) for your nonstop support. Earth shattering news is on the horizon but it shall not be announced quite yet! We love seeing you people squirm. The only hint is that Maldroid will be alot more visable in months to come. Well enjoy that lil hint and to all of those who purchased the first release so far thank you and let the games begin! You Wanna Read It: 9/10

Hello People! Welcome to yet another very short news blog! Why you may ask? Well if you have been sleeping in a cave let us refresh you! We have an album to debut on Thursday,September 20th! Thats right "Oakland Lads Club" will be our much anticipated Fuzz Records debut. It will feature brand spanking new versions of "Heck No" and "You Wanna Touch It" plus exclusive remixes of the tunes by Dj Amp Live of Zion I and The Lovemakers. It doesnt get much better then that peeps.

This week Oakland's second best dressed band, The Look will be opening for us at our weekly Stork Club Residency. Thursday night people. Be there. Also keep in mind that the following week we will be playing our Thursday night show on a very important date. Yeah its the day of the release!Maldroid, Hot Toddies, and Panda. You heard it here first people!

Hey Now! Hey Now! Hey Now! Welcome to a very short but sweet "You Wanna Read It" Blog. Life in the land of brown suits and hit records has been insane ever since the announcement of the new record! What record you may ask? Our New Record -- "Oakland Lads Club" -- Featuring 2 new songs, 2 music videos, and two sweet dance re-mixes by The Lovemakers and DJ AMP LIVE drops on September 13th!! Thats what record we are talking about! We will be making several media appearences in the next month to hype the record and upcoming plans!

So as for shows? This week we will be playing with the lovely "Sex Tape Scandal" at our home away from home The Stork Club. If you dont know the routine kids lets go over it one more time. Show up on Thursday to see a killer opener and yours truly. The first 50 to attend get a ticket at the door for a free Pabst Blue Ribbon courtesy of us! Then prepare to drink dollar Pabst all night long!!!! So we better see y'all this Thursday and every Thursday for the remainder of September because there arent many dates left and y'all are missing out.

In other news, being the media whores(Naked Cowboy called us this on television) that we are we will be appearing at the Paul Frank store in Sf along with our brothers and sista in the LOVEMAKERS to promote our new albums! We will be appearing from 7-9 on Tuesday September 4th at the 262 Sutter St location. Free beer will be served and killer djs will be performing sets. Get a chance to rub shoulders with greatness. Also who knows what may happen!!!

Ok sorry to cut it short but we must prepare for world domination.

You Wanna Read It-8/27

Hello Hello and welcome to yet another edition of "You Wanna Read It". This weeks edition will be short and sweet! Why you may ask? Glad you asked!
We are in the mastering stage(thats the last stage in the recording process) of the tracks for our upcoming debut Fuzz release. Cd art has been finalized and will be coming in mom and pop stores across the west coast and online through a brand spanking new online store! How cool as that?
The release date for this masterpiece will be September 13th! Thats a thursday people. We didnt want to compete with Fiddy or Kanye. The intial release will feature brand spanking new versions of "Heck No" and "You Wanna Touch It"! Plus remix versions of each song! Both remixes are simply amazing and will blow your mind. Our man Amp Live from Hip Hop Masters Zion I tackles "Heck No" and our Fuzz family members the LOVEMAKERS add a lotta love to "You Wanna Touch It". Also included in the release will be Hi-Def versions of both videos which can be watched on your DVD player! Yeah you know you want it!

This past weekend saw us stare the stage with some great bands! At the stork club we had the honor to play with Street To Nowhere and Push To Talk. If you havent checked these guys out we highly advise you to asap! We appreciate everyone for coming and enjoying the free beer and kick ass music. Why dont we keep the part rolling and all meet up this thursday(aug 3oth) at the Stork Club to see Tokyo Decadence and yours truly!!!
We would also like to thank Izzy at RoundMusic, The Cons and Forrest Day for a kick ass time on Saturday night. You can imagine it was a wild night when Maldroid doesnt even get on stage till 2:30am! Yowza! Long Night in deed. In a good way we assure you!

Hey Now Boy's and Girl's! Welcome to another week of the "You Wanna Read It" Blog Series. Things are very busy in camp Maldroid so be prepared for some new shiznit within the next month or so. Just in case you didn't know shiznit means songs, videos and merchandise!

As you can see our Stork Club residency is going strong. This past week saw us tear up the stage with The Beltholes and our brothers from different mothers Tragedy Andy. Big Ups to them for helping us out at the last minute with some technical difficulties in the equipment department. We owe you a martini or two!

This week brings us two, count em two kick ass shows. This week's residency (Thurs 8/23) has a bit of mystery to it since we have two secret bands opening up for us. Who are they may you ask? Hmmmm. Can't tell you that but we can tell you that one has played Live 105's BFD and the other will be playing an upcoming indie fest! Who could it be? Hmmm. Remember the first 50 people at this show will get you a free beer on us! Also $1 Pabst Blue Ribbon all night! Hey man that stuff won a blue ribbon for a reason. Shits the nectar of the gods! Also we are excited to announce we will be playing the Gingerbread House(Sat Aug 25th) In SF with a trio of DJ's. Look on our shows list for further details and such.

For our past contest winners Jess (Hey Jess great You Tube Debut) and Colin be patient your prizes will be mailed shortly. As for future contests remember this very, very important hint. In the next months you will be truly tested in will. It is up to you to pay attention to the smallest detail and to be prepared for an experience like no other. You will be rewarded handsomely. Hey kids! Welcome to our weekly blog series: “You Wanna Read It”! It’s been a busy week for your favorite group of fine dressed gentlemen, so let’s cut to the chase!

First off, everyone do whatever it takes to attend our two shows this week. Those being the Monday night show with The Suburban Legends at The Bottom of the Hill and our debut residency show at the Stork in Oakland on Thursday Night. All The details are listed below. In other news, Maldroid is seeking some help in hitting the streets of Anytown, USA! We're looking for some dedicated individuals all across the country who want to get involved with marketing and promotions on a serious level. Screw the major labels, we're here to reinvent the way things work in the record industry. Do you want in on the ground floor?

Hey guys and gals, nice to see you again. As you can tell we have our act together and will actually be updating our blog section every week. As announced last week we were asking for your help in naming the damn thing. Well, needless to say, we were overwhelmed with great ideas from around the globe! After endless debate and discussion we have finally found the winner! We are proud to announce that starting next week our weekly blog series will be entitled……”You Wanna Read It”! Props to our girl Jess for coming up with the fantastic title. Your Series 1 Button set will be sent in the mail asap! It’s a shame there can only be one winner. However, don’t let that get you down people. This is the beginning of many contests so stay tuned as next week we will begin our next one!

Due to overwhelming response we will continue to print up Series 1 Button Sets until demand has been met. You can purchase these at any of our shows for $5. Also just in for purchase are stylish brown hoodies with the legendary MALDROID crest on the front. These will be gone before you know it so make sure to pick one up asap. Pricing and availability will be announced shortly. For those you who can’t make it to shows an online store will be available to take orders soon!

A big piece of news we would like to share with you is that our debut video for “He Said She Said” has finally surpassed the elusive 1 million views mark! We thank each and every one of you for spreading the word on the video. Now let’s go for two million! Oh yeah and give “Heck No (I’ll Never Listen To Techno)” and “You Can Have It All” some love too as both are simply amazing videos as well. Expect to see our new video for “You Wanna Touch It” on You Tube in the next month or so. Also expect to see and hear news on our upcoming debut on Fuzz Records. We can assure you in classic Maldroid fashion it will be like nothing you have experienced before. Be prepared to see and hear something rather refreshing to say the least!

Next week will also be major as we will be announcing the line-ups for our 2 month stand at the Stork Club in Oakland. Join Maldroid at their favorite spot in Oakland for an intimate night of music with a special guest every Thursday Night for the months of August and September. Each week will be unique as we will be debuting new songs, covers and of course super kick ass openers! Who could they be? Hmmm stay tuned!!!!!

Speaking of covers we have a question for you all! What would you like to see the boys in brown take on in the future? As you know we love to throw in a cover or two at a show and we are dying to rock some new ones! Let us know what you want us to play and damn it we will play it. That is if we like your ideas. It's not like we will be rocking any Simple Card, Yellow Plan, Or Fall Out at The Disco songs so be realistic kids. We already know you have great taste in music so please kick us down some ideas as we have been stumped as of late in the covers department.

What’s up y’all? Welcome to our now weekly blog series on everything that is Maldroid. Feel free people to post us any questions and suggestions for upcoming blogs. We may look like the bad boys, but I assure you we do not bite. That is unless you ask!

Now then, first of all let us thank everyone who came out to our two shows this past weekend (Ashkenaz in Berkeley and Club Retro in Sacramento). What a great, sweaty time it was! Seeing faces both old and new really makes the boys in brown turn it up a notch. Big ups to the Phenomenauts for showing us a great time and for being a class act from rooter to tooter. It was amazing to see people “mosh” (is that word used anymore?) to our songs! One of the highlights of our weekend was seeing kids in Sacramento line dance and metal finger their way through our set. We get Todd getting metal fingers but Jerry? A sight to behold indeed!

Our next show will be with our brothers, the Suburban Legends at the Bottom of the Hill (7/30) in San Francisco. If you go to this show you will drop 5 pounds in water weight from the sheer intensity of it. We expect to see everyone there in full force to join the rock and roll revolution. Also on tap is our residency at our favorite watering hole, The Stork Club (Oakland) for the months of August and September. We will reveal line-ups for these intimate shindigs in blogs to come. People of the world don’t worry! You will be seeing the sensational seven soon enough. We have big things in store!!!

One question many have asked is “When will we see a new music video?” Glad you asked people! A new video for “You Wanna Touch It” will be hitting the streets soon and we can assure you it will be worth the wait. Your vast imaginations will never be able to guess the concept of the video. In classic Maldroid fashion the video will do what we do best, entertain you!

OK. Contest time. This one will be short and sweet. Since this will now be a weekly blog series for the people we feel it needs a name by the people. So all you Maldroid lovers out there please give us a name for the blog! The winner will be decided by the band and announced on next week’s blog! The Prize? A limited edition Series One Buddy Pack Button Set featuring buttons of every band member and a brand new exclusive MALDROID Button! How cool is that? These limited edition packs debuted at the Ashkenaz show and these suckers are flying out of stock with the quickness. So after our a recording session on thursday night, Jerry and I decided to head home since we would not be needed in OAKLAND again until late afternoon friday(VIDEO SHOOT!) and we had no where to crash. Yes I know that was a run on sentence fucking sue me. Anyway if you peeps didnt know J and I live in the biggest piece of shit town ever, Tracy California. Which is a lovely 45 minutes away from our home away from home OAK-town. Moving forward, after I dropped J off I drove home. I actually live in the countryside 10 minutes outside of beautiful shit-town who gives a fuck so my drive takes me through oak-ball central. As I stopped at a light I noticed I had been sitting there for gee i dont know...5 FUCKING MINUTES!!!! Now take note this light has haunted me since the beginning of Maldroid since I always take it home after practice and it is the quickest way to Shippley Manor. I do the classic tricks of flashing my brights and inching forward ever so slightly. Nothing. Now A normal person would just run the light however I am what you call a pussy so I decide to wait and be an honest citizen. Yeah well this honest citizen got pulled over!!! For What? For inching at a light to make it turn green!!!! The cop seemed nice at first until he asked me what I was doing out so late(11pm late? Please my vampire ass wakes up at 11pm). I told him "Im in a band and I am coming back from practice in OAKLAND". All of a sudden his tone changed and I was now taking a sobriety test. Yeah a fucking field sobriety test. Thank god I decided NOT to drink Jim Beam or more then one beer or I would be fucked and MALDROID would already have a brand new bass player( i know I walk a fine line with those fuckers). Luckily I popped and locked my way through the test like the bad ass that I am and drove home unfazed, unticketed and unarrested. The moral to the story?

Im a Bit Fucking Depressed that we are not on the annual BFD show. I mean come on throw us a fucking bone here. Our single has been played on LIVE 105 for quite sometime now and still no love. I wonder why? Maybe they think we should pay our dues more. Too bad we have all paid our dues for over a decade now in other bands. Oh well.Maybe next year.

hey i just wanted to thank everyone who came by and helped with the video shoot. I know I sound like a total emo-"douchebox" (ryan divine created this word cant take credit) but it was really cool seeing you all at the end of telegraph. I have been in bands since I was 15 and all I ever asked for were people willing to help a brother out from time to time. words can not explain how much we all appreciate you all being there for us. I may still be broke but all your support makes it really easy to forget it. it also doesnt hurt when someone buys you ten pitchers of beer and a shrimp po boy. holla!

Without getting too personal it is funny how people believe big crocks of bullshit just because a person is in a band. Anyone who knows what I am talking about and witnessed what happened this last show at the mezzanine can attest to it. It makes me sick how people put a spin on things looking for prayers and money when in reality they did these things to themselves. Call me a dick but for real it is insulting to your fans to lie to them and not tell them the whole story. whatever next time I turn into a drunk mess, destroy shit, and insult people please feel bad for me too.
