Monkees Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Petition - We Lead The Campaign by 5,518 Sigs!
On Friday, July 11th, 2008, EXACTLY 14 months TO THE DAY of the posting of The Monkees Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Petition, Sandy Jacobson (Creator & Producer of BackStage:Los Angeles) and Michael Sunday (Host) had a lunch meeting with Caroline Boyce, widow of Tommy Boyce (Boyce & Hart).

May 11th, 2008 marked the 1-year Anniversary of the posting of The Monkees Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Petition. Our goal is 100,000 signatures, because when their five albums were released for the first time on CD in 1986, they ALL went PLATINUM THAT DAY.

We the fans, are leading the largest and oldest “Oldies” radio station in Southern California by 5,518 signatures! As of this morning, through the world-wide effort of the fans, we have collected 14,009 online signatures + 124 from Peter Tork & Shoe Suede Blues concerts = 14,133 signatures. The largest & oldest "oldies" radio station in Southern California, has collected 8,615 signatures, for a combined total of 22,748.
