Tom Morello - One Man Revolution (The Nightwatchman)
When I read some peoples' opinions and expectations for Tom's solo cd, I'm a bit puzzled. I've been a RAGE fan forever, an obsessed Audioslave fan during their short career, and ALWAYS a Tom Morello fan. On 'One Man Revolution,' Tom certainly does not disappoint. I find his clear, angry baritone suits the lyrics and the (just as) angry acoustic he plays perfectly; I just can't find a flaw!! For those who keep insisting on the 'electric' stuff, the constant barrage of 'RAGE' & 'Audioslave" chants, ...well, I think they're kind of missing the point. Don't get me wrong, this is FANTASTIC (I say W. Guthrie style) music, BUT it's a HELLUVA lot more than that. I can't stop listening, and with every listen, I think I come just a little closer to feeling Tom's anger. This HAS to be the hardest rocking acoustic album ever - you owe it to yourself to give it a listen; bet you'll be hooked, too ; ) .

I love your take on this---it's spot on. It's the message, the unity it brings and the passionate delivery that connects with people. That's the running theme in everything Tom does.
