Oliver Sutton Records is the product of a late night dog walk and an emcee's frustration with how mainstream A & R reps have made it near impossible for a hip hop artist to survive in the music industry without speaking of guns, "bitches", 24 inch rims and material over indulgence. Oliver Sutton Records is based on manic creativity, a will to succeed, the idea that raw talent is unavoidable and the belief that sooner or later the people consuming this genre of music will go in search of something with a little more substance. This label supports the idea that there is room in the market to provide listeners with a more realistic experience and the belief there are artists out there that have the potential to change the tide of ceommercialism, hatred and ignorance in hip hop, the music industry and the world we live in.

Oliver Sutton Records is always interested in hearing from artists who share some or all of the same beliefs we do. We are not limited to genres of music and we are currently seeking out new talent for development and future projects.
