Mocha Louder

First thought that comes to mind is a sort of strange Simple MInds vibe mixing in with that new oldness of The Editors, but with a little more Jim Morrison instead of Ian Curtis in the vocals. Very synth driving swirly catchy dark pop tunes that hit on some great reference points for me. From the Chameleons UK to Julian Cope and the Teardrop Explodes. I know that might all sound like some blast from the past, but fortunately these songs manage to sound like they are facing the future. Perhaps they live in an old house, but somewhere within it they built a new room.
