Ahh, Panic! at the disco. I am sure we all remember them from their hit record ' A Fever you can't sweat out'. They had us worried for a while there, giving us P!ATD fever then leaving us to sweat something we couldn't out, but finally there is a cure! Their new album 'Pretty.Odd.' has arrived!

After a good amount of time, the band had us on the edge of our seats as we waited with baited breathe for more of them. 'Pretty.odd.' has definitely satisfied some of our hungry ears. Though there has been some mixed opinions about the newly released album.

Most were expecting the young crazy band that gave teenager's a circus for their own age and connected with the fan's with both music and words. Now the band has a little bit of a twist, a mixture that compliment's their music, yet seems a bit unlike the band. I can see how the bands new 'Lemon slice' has lost and gained some listeners.

They gave us reassurance in 'We're so starving'.But see, They aren't the same. In all actuality, that's a GOOD thing. A bit of a new sound shows the band is 'growing-up'.

The words and music walk hand-in-hand on the album. Ryan Ross is amazing, he can say how he is feeling without directly saying it, and leaves us, not knowing EXACTLY what he is saying, but still providing comfort for us in his words.

The difference between the band's first album and their newest one is a fairly big one. Keeping their original sound, they have woven a tid bit of a 'Beatles' feel in, and added a sprinkle of something we couldn't exactly put our finger on because it slowly changes throughout the CD, It changes from Country to a more rock feel to a kind of classical type. Either way, we love it. And if you don't, there's really no escape, it seems to grow on you.

Somewhere, while listening to the CD, reading the lyrics, and writing this review, I've fallen in love all over again with Panic! at the disco. While I am sad like a parent seeing this once small band from Las Vegas grow into this Amazing, Big-time band who everyone wants to know and has heard of, I am proud of them. The band we have watched over time is now taking their next step in life, their sound maturing in many ways. As Ryan Ross has said in 'Pas de Chavel', [yeah] We'll just drink it, and we will just drink this album right up, Ryan. Hat's off to You, Panic! at the disco, And welcome back.
