Bio

I grew up in upstate New York, mostly following bands like Rush (from nearby Canada) and listening to my mother's John Denver albums. Oddly enough, that resulted in me being a huge fan of bands like Phish (100 shows), the Samples (don't bother seeing them live - the sound is too hot live - hot in the bad way) and The Dave Matthews Band.

My musical taste ranges from the poppy (Lilly Allen, Coldplay, John Mayer) to the heavier stuff (Evanescence, Linkin Park) to classical (anything by Mozart).

I'm with TimmyC that seeing a band in a small venue early on is still one of the biggest thrills on this planet.
