Live Earth/ Manson
Yes, as you can imagine Live Earth was amazing.. High light would be John Butler Trio, those guys are brilliant and there wasnt a body umongst the 50,000 that wasnt dancing. Also a mention to Wolfmother even though they did get screwed over by the sound tech's who turned off the 2nd stack of speakers for god knows what reason, Sneaky Sound System were fun and the big suprise is that Toni Collette (and the finish) is actually a really good singer and not some stupid Jennifer Love huge tits piece of crap. Not quite my thing but Crowded House did do a good job of closing the show
But today tickets started selling for the Marilyn Manson Oz tour which i have been waiting ages for. I was at work so hopefully e-bay can provide me something later in the way of descent seating... but do i stick to the Sydney show or make it a bit of a holiday and head to Melbourne??

Maybe they felt guilty and hypocritical so they thought they better do their bit to save energy. HA! After all, it was the Live Earth Concert, the event to make people aware of global warming & excessive use of energy & fuel. So what do they do??? They have a huge concert that enpends TONS of energy & electricity. Hope you have a sense of humor and can see the irony? Hey, they even use global warming now for a chance to party. Enjoy it for what it's worth;)).....a party.
Its cool, i totally see the irony in the whole thing. and to be honest the conservation/awarness issues wasnt my big concern.. I just wanted to have a damn good day out and see some awesome bands.. Which i did *cheers*
