Yep. thats what ive been doing, alot of nothing.
TAFE sucks, assessments suck.. fuck! after all this work i'd better get a frigging job out of it
Went to see John Butler Trio on the 17/8.. pretty good but shit venue (Hordern Pavilion) so enjoyed seeing them more at Live earth. Did have fun partially molesting some guy in the crowd though. Also went to see Thirsty Merc 18/8. Only at the club but awesome show.. HIGHLY recommend them to anyone given the chance to go see them. Marilyn Manson in 3 weeks time. Flights book, hotel booked, concert ticket booked .. now just working on the god awful spending (drinking) money.

Its 1am and id say ive had more than to much to drink so this seems like a brilliant time to ponder the meaning of life..
Is the meaning of live to love, it is to be happy, is it to experience and see as much as possible, it is to bring new life into this world, is it about cherishing our earth and whats beyond or is it about something else totally different..?
Well, what about if it is about being loved and sharing love... Have you not experienced life if you never feel love? are you less of a person if you are incapable of showing love.. NO.. why the fuck should you feel insuperior or less worthy if you are a good person your entire life but remain single and loveless.
Is it about being happy?, yes it is important but it isnt the be all and end all. Look after yourself and the ones around you and hopefully that is enough to make you happy and content, but again are people with depression who aren't enjoying life to its fullest any less worthy or inferior because if it.. No..they just have some shit weighting them down they need to work through
Now.. experiencing and seeing as much as possible is personally what i think is the closest to what the meaning of life is about. Life is about experiences and everyone should aim to be involved, travel, experience cultures, see the 7 wonders of the world but, is the "The" meaning of life.. NO.. if your happy cocooned in your immediate life then so be it, dont feel bad about that
Is nurturing and helping our planet the meaning of life?.. sure its good to be good to our earth and surrounding, and all these greenies etc should be extremely proud of themselves for standing up for their cause ..but fuck.. is it the meaning of life.. NO.. dont get caught up in the deterioration of our world, that shit is horrid to think about all the time

Yes, as you can imagine Live Earth was amazing.. High light would be John Butler Trio, those guys are brilliant and there wasnt a body umongst the 50,000 that wasnt dancing. Also a mention to Wolfmother even though they did get screwed over by the sound tech's who turned off the 2nd stack of speakers for god knows what reason, Sneaky Sound System were fun and the big suprise is that Toni Collette (and the finish) is actually a really good singer and not some stupid Jennifer Love huge tits piece of crap. Not quite my thing but Crowded House did do a good job of closing the show
But today tickets started selling for the Marilyn Manson Oz tour which i have been waiting ages for. I was at work so hopefully e-bay can provide me something later in the way of descent seating... but do i stick to the Sydney show or make it a bit of a holiday and head to Melbourne??

2 days away and Sydney is starting to buzz with people... The crowds are flooding in and so are the US sailors (very happy about that).
Anyway.. Charlie is making her was up from Melbourne tomorrow and we're going to Live Earth together, which is pretty cool. Actually im just looking forward to having a few (lots) of drinks with her and making it a good girly time.
Hopefully it will be good and this shit, freezing cold winters weather will stay away
