Hello...I'm Richard.
I've played guitar for several different types of rock bands throughout high school. These included C.P.R. (early attempt at general rock), Good Intentions (general hard rock), Deus Ex Machina (attempt at metal), Resist Your Fall (hardcore/metalcore), Sunset Mourning (attempt at alternative rock), and The Moonroofers (acoustic rock). An attempt pretty much means that that band was not able to accomplish much.
G.I. played at the '06 Live Oak Battle of the Bands, and the '06 Sobrato Battle of the Bands. G.I. played at the '07 Sobrato BOTB, and in the '07 Live Oak BOTB, G.I. and R.Y.F. tied for 5th place.
Currently I'm going to UCSB and I do not have a serious music project going on, just jammin'.
Interests and activities: guitar, listening to all kinds of music (mostly classic rock, variations of hardcore and metalcore and deathcore, reggae, old school hip hop, etc), UCSB lacrosse, watching the Simpsons.

I didn't even know there was a music genre called deathcore. Hopefully no actual death's involved. I mean it couldn't get very popular, could it?
