HI--- I'm Chris- a 37 yr old single white male in downtown los angeles-im a scorpio- blond hair blue eyes- a chubby chasers dream - or so I am told by all of the chubby chasers. I have strong hands- a sweet smile and am a great listener!
:-)- now that i got that cheezy sounding stuff out of the way- I am also a huge lover of music and - as of now- a current member of the fuzz A R staff-- Hopefully that won't change- but if it does- I sure plan on keeping this page- and adding to it daily--- well--- weekly at least!
So-- what is FUZZ to me-- why am I so glad to be here from DAY 1????? I'll go on- so keep reading!
Finally in fuzz there is a site that has given people like me-- the stoners/heads/diehards/completeists of the alternatiove music scene that make it tick-on a national level yeah- but also at the regional and local scene too- a place to gather that is more geared toward US than FRIENDSTER -- or MYSPACE_ or sites designed around something other than music. I can turn people on to what i like- blog my ass off about whatever I find interesting- find a new set of friends- AND know that I am around a certain TYPE of person-- the TYPE who wants to support independant music- and who - as I do- looks forward to helping change the music business in a positvie way!
Obviously- the old way of selling records and promoting bands--- its broken
NOT just the download thing--- but the radio thing- SO FEW bands get on teh radio- HEll i manage a band that had the SONG OF THE YEAR at two formats of rock radio in 2005 ( Crossfade's COLD) and it still bums even me out that the situation is gettig worse-- FEWER new bands actually get played-0 there is room for fewer records at record stores too- not just the soon to be extinct MALL stores - wherehouse peaches tower where has't yee gone oh mighty music superstores????-- so shit has to change

FUZZ IS HERE FOR THAT

Its obvious that the folks here know their shit-- just watch the page grow!

Some of you are here because of me- so I wanted to let you all know that- NOW IS THE TIME TO SET UP YOUR PAGES TOO!

we are going public-- as we call it- march 15th-- so get your gear together in the next 13 days so that when we open- you look ready- and don't miss the chance to make some fans from the REAL diehards- those who will be joining as soon as the invites go out on the morning of the 15th!!!!!!

Not only do I work with Fuzz- I am a manager of bands- two of whom - I am proud to say- will be feautred on Fuzz from Day 1-- Jonah and Grounded. Both of them have 2 fantastic albums-- one brand new-of amazing material to per-use and download-- so go check em out!
I'll just let you know that- as a manager- If Fuzz were not THE SHIT- I would not want the artists that I manage to associate with them at all- but as it is now-- Fuzz Is THE SHIT- and is only going to get better-- I HAVE HEARD THINGS he whispers in an eerrrrrriiiiieeee Vincent Price sounding tone-:-)-- I AM PROUD that I can ALWAYS SAY that "my" clients were associated with Fuzz since Day 1--
one day that will be HUGE news- a door opener for sure!

so- since I KNOW THINGS-I also know people!!! I know that if anyone out there sees things we are NOT doing- or we need to be doing better-- DONT TALK SHIT-- JUST TELL US-- and we will consider making the changes you suggest-- its simple like that- NO ONE is perfect- especailly US- but we wanna be-- and so-- help us if you'd like- ok?
No site before has ever been so MUSICIAN friendly- nor as populated - staff wise- as Fuzz is- by musicians.That is what is helping the site look and BE so unique from day 1- and what will continue to help provide us with the insight we feel is needed to exist - let alone thrive- in the NEW music business!

All of us know whats wrong with the business- all of us have ideas on how we should be doing things- and can do things differently and can use fuzz to help really change- in a positive way- the business of music- the thing we all love so much- the ONE THING we all have in common-- the reason we are here!

I think- once thigns get up and rolling- Fuzz could even- poissibly- be the site that gives the downtrodden and up coming musicians of the world a place to unite-- a union of sorts where we can all go- share stories and shortcuts- and help each others lives become better- careers become longer- more successful. Not only trading place on the floor to sleep with other band when you/they are on tour- but working with other evolutionaries who want to exist- and thrive- in this new business we find ourselves in!
Sure Im gonna be buying plenty of downloads too- supporting the artists who are doing what I love so much- and the way things are set up with Fuzz- I can spread my love a lot further than If i was at a record store- buying cds from them- paying three rounds of mark up- none of which go to the artists

I think ill start looking around now-- see who here is doing something that I like enough to throw a little money at--but more importantly- Ill see who is out there doing something correctly - something that I can learn from - and something so special that I think it can change the world!
