It all started with a simple drum machine, push the buttons, make a sound, and Loop it! spent hours on that think, made tapes, I wonder where those are? then on to computers! Acid dj was the first, take loops, chop them up, make it your own, but not quite, still other peoples loops. so I came upon fruity loops. now I just need to find wav files. after years of searching I have thousands and thousands of sounds. now its all about how they go together, effects to use, and inspiration! went midi for a bit, bought a nice korg triton, and sold it =\
Check out my music and let me know what you think! It is an
important outlet of my creative energy (which I have way to much of, which isn't always a good thing) Keep expanding your mind!

"Pinback boo remix" was the first track I listened to by Gabriel Jones, and I knew I'd gotten myself into something that was going to cost me some time. :)
I immediately fell in love with the acoustic bass tones in "I am Convinced", the newest Gabriel Jones offering. This track confirmed a certain je ne sais quoi that I had detected in the first track. Further listening down the playlist drove it home, but I'm not sure I quite have my finger on it yet.
Listen close enough to "Pattern Water" and maybe you'll hear what I'm saying... Perhaps it's a now-translucent memory of Paul Hardcastle's Rainforest (1984, yeah I'm old) or something more like Marty Friedman's Introduction (1995 - Shrapnel)... Nah, that's not it.
The sounds are familiar... warm and safe like a worn out blanket. But the music's about as safe as a jog through the jungle. There's something mysterious bordering on dark. Even in the soft, plucked melodies of "Recognition" there's a feeling of something waiting just out of sight, something old and a bit wiser, perhaps. It pokes it's head out of "hey"... maybe checking to see if we're paying attention. But soon "morning" comes along and wipes the dark dream from memory... maybe it's just our imagination.
We should try to just continue on like nothing happened, allowing the sounds of "Numb ers" to lull us back into our walking slumber. I don't quite remember if I'm asleep or awake, do you? "Avail able" is like another scene in the same illusion, not quite real enough to be real, not quite unreal enough to be dream.
Ah, so here we are at the brink of enlightenment - neither sleeping or waking. Not dreaming, seeing or imagining. "Luna (thefuck)" leads us to The Place In-Between, the place we wanted to go but feared didn't exist. Dark and light, real and unreal - not opposites, but the same. Laughing through the "bloody nose story" like two kids on their first high, we feel freer than free... but with an ever so faint fear in the back of our minds that we are really trapped... forced along for the ride. Best go with it.
We walk together through the alien landscape of "Tuure," treading lightly through the dreamscape unfolding before each tentative step.
To be continued...
=) Thank you so much clif! Let my music take you... -GJ

Harmony is a talent, and 3LLL has great talent, everything flows, smoothness to the next level, it doesn't matter what type of music he's throwing at you. it brings it. nice ears 3, nice ears!
I like em all but my favorites would have to be 20, 26, 30, and 31. they just get better with age. would be great with smooth flows over them, or as they are.
thanks for the album three, I look forward to hearing your next works. let it flow!
A live improvised coalition between me and my old Korg Triton, and Burnsio, and awesome guitarist. these tracks were made 5 years ago, have reminded people of 'Buckethead'. check out my new old band page!
