HI, my name is Eric Grossman, and I’m a full time, professional bass player. I’ve recently finished putting together my private recording studio. equipped with high-end gear, a variety of excellent instruments, amps, and mics. I’m now offering my services as a player, to the world. The truth is, the music business is changing, drastically. It is no longer crucial to have a record label shell out a huge budget to put an artist into an expensive studio, to record an amazing record. As a matter of fact, more artists are doing it themselves, with unbelievable results. Also, with the internet, the world is a very small place. Artists from all over the planet, can collaborate just as if they were in the same room, together. This has also made it possible to do great things, with not so great budgets. This is where I can help. If you think I can make your song better, just send me an mp3. I’ll record the bass part here, and send you a wav. file. If we need to fine-tune it, it’s no problem. We’ll be finished, when you love the result. It’s really that simple. The entire project can be done on-line. What a beautiful thing. Visit my profile for some of my work. My apologies to all who have already read this blog, but with my list of friends growing, it's necessary for me to re-post it once in a while. Got to get up and running. Thanks for understanding.
Hello to all of my new friends here at Fuzz. The internet has really done us all a service, by shrinking the global community in such a way, that we are all neighbors here in cyberspace.
With that being said, I want to announce that my home pro-tools studio, "fclef Productions" is up and running. I built it with the sole objective of offering my talents as a bass player, to the global community.
Gone are the days when you had to fly a musician into town, or hire the best local player. It is no longer necessary to spend the money in air fare or other transportation. It is no longer necessary to book studio time at expensive studios.
All you need to do is upload and send a compatable music file by e-mail, or a disc by regular mail. I will lay down a bass track, and send it back for your approval. If you like it, then the transaction can be completed. Otherwise, the track can be fine tuned to meet your dreams. Simple, isn't it. Well, it really is.

Hi friends. I was just noticing, that I have had in excess of 1015 views to my profile. Thanks to all of you who have taken the time to look. As much as this is a positive thing for me, I am here because I am a musician; a bassist to be more precise (and a pretty good one). I'm trying my best to promote that, any way I can.
Unfortunately, I have had very few views to my music profile as compared to my main page. The difference is nearly 800 views. Now I know that this is blatant self-promotion, but would everyone please take a little time to check out my music page? After all, it's why I'm here. I'd love to have the opportunity to make more music, with more people, and the only way I can do that, is by being heard. So to everyone who reads this, thanks. To everyone who acts on it, double thanks.
I'm going to do my best to check out as many music profiles as I can. Isn't that what networking is all about? Hopefully we all have a shared vision here, and a common goal. We want good music to be heard, appreciated, and shared. Hopefully the results can be positive and lucrative for the artists, and the proliferation of quality art can continue to grow. That's what I want, and badly. I'm as sick of the FM drivel as anyone, but the powers that be are seemingly not. Grassroots is the way for the rest of us, so here we are, and here we go.

I've seen comments regarding the difficulty in getting Fuzz into the mainstream vernacular. People are always trepidatious when it comes to trying out new things, especially those that are not tried and true. The only way this site will ever reach its potential, is if it is adopted by the masses. Of course, I assume we don't want it to become the menagerie that Myspace has become, but there is a lot of growing to be done before it gets to that point.
Here is a possible step that we can all take, to promote what we have here at Fuzz.
Sarah, CompQueen(Chris), and I , for example, have all put Fuzz link banners on our MySpace pages. My page is myspace.com/bassbyeric. Check it out and see how I did it. Look at Sarah's, too. Her banner is a little different. Why don't the goat and Co. come up with a universal link banner, that we could all add to our web sites? You can add them to personal sites, networking sites, etc... Kind of like free advertising.
The more people see the Fuzz logo, the more familiar it will become, and the more comfortable they will be with it. Let's spread the word. Keep in mind, that when you promote Fuzz, you promote yourself, as well.
