Well we should blame the reckless use of "soon to be released" on strange label complications. And I really wanna buy his album "The Long Goodbye". Once it is released I am gonna force myself to write a real "in depth" review.

Till this "soon to be" day appears -enjoy me little multifaced video show:

Paul van Dyk feat. Wayne Jackson The other side

Bela B. y Los Helmstedt Gitarre Runter (pay attention on the lady at the end)

Wayne Jackson The Storm (live)

I agree, this Guy is a major Talent! There's renaissance in his voice, and it comes across clearly!!!!!

I think I saw these vids before. They are a good selection demonstrating Wayne Jackson's versatility and showing that he has already arrived as an accomplished performer as well as a gifted singer.

DifferentStars, I have two questions for you: 1.) Did you upload these vids on this site before? I can't remember whether I was just surfing youtube to find WJ or surfing fuzz]? 2.) Was Wayne Jackson your pick for Clif's Fuzzpile # 2? If so, I'm glad he was.

Hi TCC,
the first 2 videos are new on Fuzz - But Bela B. (member of German punk rock legend "die Ärzte") and Paul van Dyk are major stars - so you might have seen these videos on MTV and alike.

You might remember my Lonely Lovers blog - that's where I posted "Perfect Day" for the first time. (the good news is: My love is coming to town so I will stop to be a lonely lovers for some time - The bad news is No SomeVapourTrails I will never get rid of my teeny side - getting older doesn't help and I will keep on writing kitschy blogs) :-)

I did post the video of "The Storm" before but replaced the old blog with this review.

Last but not least: Yes I did nominate Wayne Jackson for the Fuzzpile #2 and I am glad that you like his music too.

I really like his voice, it's very distinctive and also full of warmth. Especially the version of The Storm on fuzz is more intense that the one uploaded on another music community. I will definitely buy his finally soon-to-be released album.
