Bio
I am the rhythm guitarist and one of the songwriters of Five Til Ground Zero. I have been playing guitar for about 8 or 9 years and I have also been playing bass for around 3 years. My style of playing has been heavily influenced by Adam Jones of Tool, Mikael Akerfeldt of Opeth and David Gilmour of Pink Floyd. My bass playing has been styled around the playing of Geezer Butler of Black Sabbath, Justin Chancellor of Tool, Steve Harris of Iron Maiden, and Cliff Burton (RIP) of Metallica.
I listen to a lot of music with a pretty wide variety in what I listen to. My favorite genres would have to be Progressive Rock, Progressive Metal, Post Rock, and Melodic Death Metal. I like bands that I deem unique or progressive for their genre. I also prefer that the bands that I listen to are the only ones that sound the way that they do so I am not big on copycat bands.
