Poems in the attic. Poems in my brain.
I’ve got several words of wisdom for you to comprehend.
Lights, sights and nerds.

What you really need is some love and tears so that your soul and heart can hear what these words are saying.
Poems in the plastic jar that you may think are not worth reading may be the real important stuff that makes the difference in what you might be missing.
One of my sisters of mercy told me once to keep on writing for poetry in motion is just like great sex without all the hang-ups.
My soul sister knows what she’s talking about because she knows how to dance on fire without getting her ivory sweet feet burned.

Poems in the attic. Poems pouring out of my soul desire of wisdom and fire.
Just how deep can you dive into the river of words that wrap you up and hold you tight?
It’s something that can take you far as you may let it.

Only to forget today’s pain for awhile until tomorrow’s sun smiles

In the third corner is the leader of opportunist. Its design is to take the first and second corner and profit among them for personal gain.
In the fourth corner is the leader of truth and wisdom. Its design is very slow in progress. Its idea is not an idea. It's a strand and a dormant gene closed and locked in everyone’s D.N.A
and like a slot-machine, every so often one of those dormant genes open up. Unforeseen information is released. Thus bringing truth and wisdom to the fold. The fourth corner is rare. It is the last corner of hope and evolution of the human spirit.

I've had a few moments in my life.
The best times of them all.

If I can take all those moments and put them in a jar. My life would be so damn-good. Money couldn't even take you that far.
I've seen those same moments in some friends of mine.

I know when they reveal a smile.

I've seen those same moments by the blues in their hearts.

And when they share those moments with friends that do part.
And when they take all those moments and put them in a jar. Their lives become so damn-good. Money couldn't take them that far..

The Darker corner of the Artist.

________________________________________
Twenty years of waiting and patience’s is an artists curse.
When you were very young someone planted a seed in you. A seed of talent.
So you decide to step up to the challenge. Now in front of a hungry audience you sing the well known cover songs. Playing club after club. The band is getting good at it.

But one friendly night the moment tapped you on the shoulder.
I don't want to do this anymore. I want to become an original artist. I like my heroes...but it's not enough. I want to become a hero. So you begin writing songs of your own. At first you are not so confident. Judgment settles in. This is not good enough.

So you write more. Still not good enough. A few years pass and you go deeper into your mind and soul. Cultivating your talent. Harnessing it. Looking into your own invisible ball in your head. Struggling night and day. Trying to survive because all artists struggle. Staying hungry. Writing more and more music with words that are not going to be pretentious. It's a colorful curse. Until the day comes when you write something that someone takes notice of. Now your reward is somewhere down the road. You see a glimpse of it but you're still on your way. But now there's the open chance of having your art flourish and bloom into the world. Patience’s and work. This is the colorful artists curse.

To all bands here on the Fuzz. I have a rather far fetch idea. But what the hell I'm going to tell you.
If someone or a group of people invested some money to renting out a venue (Like the Irving Plaza) for a day to showcase new bands to the public. Would any bands at the Fuzz be interested?
It's a far fetch idea.......but here is a pre-plan:
Rent Irving Plaza : $15,000 to $20,000
Get venue license
Rent stage equipment and P.A. with crew ....:$5,000 to 7,000
Rent light show:..........5,000 to 7,000
Security:.......5,000 to ?
Advertise in major newspaper: full page add.......
Charge low admission: $15 to 20......

If say the event started 1:00pm afternoon and went until 12:00am....
You can get over 12 bands....each playing about a 35-40 minute set.
All original groups.
Would any of you guys and gals be into something like this?
I know it's far fetch....but if someone set it up.....and we each donated 30 to 50 bucks.......it might be achieved...........on our own.
What are your thoughts?
I kind of think it's a great idea to expose new bands who want to further their careers.....and start generating a new market in the music business............

Circus Earth is a rock-concept cd written and produced by Jeff Najarian. Jeff's foremost talent is the electric guitar. After many years of playing in original projects Jeff took the reins of his own career and started working hard at his first debut cd as a solo artist. The making of Circus Earth began in early 2005. All songs were written by him including recording all instruments. The idea behind Circus Earth was to reveal our current social behavior. It was an attempt to shed some light on the state of being of Earth as a whole.
Jeff best sums it up by the front art work of the cd. The eye looking down upon Earth from space was to show an objective view of the planet and what we as the inhabitants are currently going through.

Circus Earth is not only a cd that contains songs. It’s arranged as a theater-movie piece. The beginning and ending song “I know you” serves as an introduction to Earth. Following the first track is Inside Outside. This track basically tells what every individual goes through from the moment they wake up and goes through in any given day. By the end of the night we finally go to sleep. All of us from time to time dream of a better place to live. The song Circus Earth is what we hope for. It’s not a reality yet. But we still like to hold on to that dream. The rest of the songs that follow are individual situations that happen to all of us one time or another. Rain, Max the Jockey, Forgotten River, More and Gypsy tell such tales. After going through the center of the cd we come to the 2nd to last song Orange U Glad. A simple song that sums up everything you just listened to and also offers some faith and hope in what ever you need to get you through it all.

Jeff would like to note that this presentation of Circus Earth is the first version. He quotes: “ I feel the cd is a debut to something that can be even greater. If I had my way I would of preferred having the proper financing to make this cd in a full blown professional studio with a team of engineers, musicians, back-up singers the whole nine yards……(and yes a limo- waiting for me to take me home and pick me up the next day to take me to the studio)  Enjoy!
