Bio
Circus Earth is a rock-concept cd written and produced by Jeff Najarian. Jeff's foremost talent is the electric guitar. After many years of playing in original projects Jeff took the reins of his own career and started working hard at his first debut cd as a solo artist. The making of Circus Earth began in early 2005. All songs were written by him including recording all instruments. The idea behind Circus Earth was to reveal our current social behavior. It was an attempt to shed some light on the state of being of Earth as a whole.
Jeff best sums it up by the front art work of the cd. The eye looking down upon Earth from space was to show an objective view of the planet and what we as the inhabitants are currently going through.
Circus Earth is not only a cd that contains songs. It’s arranged as a theater-movie piece. The beginning and ending song “I know you” serves as an introduction to Earth. Following the first track is Inside Outside. This track basically tells what every individual goes through from the moment they wake up and goes through in any given day. By the end of the night we finally go to sleep. All of us from time to time dream of a better place to live. The song Circus Earth is what we hope for. It’s not a reality yet. But we still like to hold on to that dream. The rest of the songs that follow are individual situations that happen to all of us one time or another. Rain, Max the Jockey, Forgotten River, More and Gypsy tell such tales. After going through the center of the cd we come to the 2nd to last song Orange U Glad. A simple song that sums up everything you just listened to and also offers some faith and hope in what ever you need to get you through it all.

I like your sound. It does have a pink floyd feel- even your voice. That's obviously a really good thing. I love the concept. I've got some paintings I've done on my fuzz site under images based on environmental issues.

No, that approach is not bad at all... Thats great. That's kind of where I live as well. As I said there was/is no right or wrong on that... My favorite composers are : Stravinsky, Rachmoninoff, Mozart... Beethoven was of course cool too. :>) I very well could have mis - interpreted the message in your blog... Anyway, all the best to you and your music.
