My first love.............

Your voice tells me how much you care, your ambiance surrounds me with that warm embrace. It is your beat that puts me in my place. It is your chorus that melts my heart, it's your rhythym that makes my body move.

You've got a way about you....your harmoinca plays for my ear, your piano takes over the room, your melodies make those sad feelings go away. I don't know what it is...but I have to smile when you reveal me.

You've brought me back to the first time I heard you...that sweet sound that put me to sleep. The bouncy beat that woke me. Each day is different....my mood is ever changing and still you are there! You will always be there...as you are the soundtrack to my life....

You are and will always be my first love and that is you....MUSIC!!!

What can I say...MUSIC IS NEVER STILL!!! Music has always consumed my life! It is how my parents would spend their evenings...playing cards and listening to music, it is how I met my husband, it is how I get myself to walk into work everyday, it is how I enjoy my evenings sitting next Sid! It is an extension of my LIFE!!!

Those are some lovely sentiments, Christine...I also was thinking how certain songs are little memory books of when one was really happy, or mourning something, or they just tell me how I have changed from the first time I heard them. "Fantastic Voyage" by Bowie is one of those songs. Didn't impact me when I first heard it, now I can't hear it without getting a lump in my throat.
