10 years of marriage.......BREATHLESS
For my husband....
Breathless
The first glimpse of you across that room, you had me locked in your gaze, not knowing who you were, naively longing for your embrace. You walked over to me holding out your hand and I knew by taking it would leave me forever breathless.
Your breath on my neck, the sweet sound of your curious voice saturating my ear, wondering where I came from and wishing me to never leave. We stepped back looking at each other smiling knowing that there would be more to this embrace.
So sure, so pure, so true our bodies entangled in the dark night never taking a moment to ask those questions as we sensed we would have years to find the answers. It was our moment, our desire to be as one and never wanting to let go.
Daylight approached and I lay awake thirsty for more. I rolled over in thought, I felt your arm wrap tightly around me and the nestling of your face and breath in my hair, left me breathless. Without words we had committed to a love that morning that to this day has been the soul of our relationship.

I am glad you have found someone who makes you feel this way, many are not so lucky. Very nicely put and hope you always feel this way. Remeber though he is just as lucky..never forget that.......
