I think this site (FUZZ) as a whole has somehow gotten slightly sidetracked with this sites own mission. It's mission is to allow a medium for artists to post their music that they no doubt have worked on night and day for us Fuzz fans to digest and critique, it's here to nurture these artists, to allow fans into the musicians world where it would normally be difficult to do so. I love the fact that I can actually interact with each of the artists! It was what makes this site stand out amongst the others.
There are some questions on how this site ranks each artist and clearly none of us have an idea...we all have our hypothesis but that is just an eduacted guess. I do know there has to be many factors that take place in ranking an artist and at this point I don't want to speculate. I don't have that authority.
What I do want is these artists to feel like they are welcome here under no false pretences and that their music will get the opportunity to be heard without bias or trickery. I feel bad that my bands group is No. 68 as we are not a musical group and if we could be replaced with an artist, then please go ahead and make that change! Us fans are here to listen to music, interact with the artists, blog about life in general or sometimes get our own views heard!
I have so much love and respect for these artists who have the courage to put their music out there...the music world can be brutal, unforgiven and downright cruel but it can also be rewarding, heartwarming and a launch pad for those who really have what it takes! If I can speak for everyone here on this site, if there is a success story for any of these artists, we have nothing but the best of wishes and pure joy for you!
One more thing, we all as individuals have a right to question anything in life, that is our humanistic nature and to be villified for asking such questions is simply not fair! We all have a right to be heard!!!

I have mentioned this to a few people in passing but the reason why I have such an ifinity for music is that for me it is a memory keepsake!! My mind is a vessel of all things special or even dishearteneing and music brings those memories back to me like they just happened!
A song from years ago, as I just told 2Serenity about Aaliyah's "back and forth"...that came out the summer I met my husband! I remember smiling at him in a room full of people watching her video. Or I will embarrass myself just a bit and say that bonnie tyler's "I need a hero" reminds me of this book "Witch" by Christopher Pike I read in the 7th grade. These are just a few examples of why music will be a part of my everyday routine, life and my heart!!! There is nothing like hearing a song that has just put a smile on my face or even made me a bit sad. That is pure emotion and that IS music!!!

In the chair I sat, outwardly patient and calm but inside I was a wreck! I have been getting work done on my gums (sorry about the TMI) but I have to tell you, my Dentist pulled a full assault on my gums today. Sweet Jesus!!! I was already sore halfway through. He did give me some advil, which was a relief!!!
I am telling you all this because these Dentists have it locked down!! I just payed another $500 which I won't see much return from my insurance company because let's all be honest here, Dental Insurance is only good for cleanings and x-rays. I swear I have paid out over $1500 this year and today I got to hear about their lavish vacations coming up, etc.
I really picked the wrong profession although I don't think I could do what they do. I saw him struggling today and really I don't have monster teeth!
So I sit here typing away...hoping my advil doesn't wear off for another hour or so and weep for all the money that I spent at the Dentist's office. All for that perfect smile right? RIGHT!
